Check out second single from Mike Fahie Jazz Orchestra’s ‘Urban(e)’
Today is launch day for the second single from the debut album from the Mike Fahie Jazz Orchestra.
The track is “”Nessum Dorma” from Turandot”, one of the most well-known arias, written by Giacomo Puccini. Fahie has rearranged the piece as a feature for tenor saxophonist Chet Doxas. You can stream the single on SoundCloud, Spotify and Apple Music. Downbeat is also premiering the single video today. Check it out here.
Urban(e) is an album that features Fahie’s arresting arrangements of seven iconic classical works for an eighteen piece large ensemble.
The record is available for pre-order now in digital and CD format. You’ll receive two tracks instantly with your purchase. The full album will be available on August 28th.
