We are pleased to announce our 2025 subscriber release of Dave Douglas Alloy: Extras – four tracks from the Alloy sessions featuring Alexandra Ridout, David Adewumi, Patricia Brennan, Kate Pass, and Rudy Royston.
Highlights include Dave’s composition “Invocation,” written for a protest rally in 2003, and a stripped-down three-trumpet version of Monk’s “Friday the 13th” performed in eleven keys. Also included is an alternate take of the piece “Standing Watch.”
“Demigods” is dedicated to Carla Bley and Steve Swallow.
Tier 2 and 3 subscribers will receive the physical CD upon renewal as of November 1, 2025.
