Stereogum picks ‘Both Are True’ as a Best New Jazz release
Stereogum has chosen Both Are True by Anna Webber and Angela Morris as a Best New Jazz release for April!
Writer Phil Freeman says of the album: 
“The music never swings in a conventional way. Instead, it drifts along, elements emerging then fading away again, with solos appearing like an animal emerging from the mist in the middle of a forest, gazing impassively at you, then retreating.”

This is the debut album for the Webber/Morris Big Band, comprised of eighteen outstanding improvising musicians playing the original music of Anna and Angela, who compose, arrange, perform, and conduct for the group.
