Kaisa’s Machine Drops Second Single, “Origin Story”
“Origin Story” is the second single from Kaisa’s Machine upcoming album, Moving Parts, set for release on March 14, 2025.
We asked Kaisa to share her thoughts on the track:
“‘Origin Story’ stands in stark contrast to the rest of the album, featuring the profound presence of lauded saxophonist Melissa Aldana, who steers the music in unexpected directions. The song is dramatic and high-energy, and Aldana’s solo takes it even further.”
This marks Kaisa’s second album with Greenleaf Music, following her acclaimed 2023 release Taking Shape. Moving Parts features seven original compositions and an outstanding quintet:
