Meet Michael Sarian
Today is a great day because we get to announce a new artist joining the Greenleaf Music roster. Please welcome trumpeter and composer Michael Sarian.
Michael is a seasoned artist who has graced some of the world’s most iconic jazz stages, from the Kennedy Center and Blue Note to the Montreux Jazz Festival. As a prolific composer and improviser, he has several releases on 577 Records, collaborations with Olec Mün on Piano and Coffee Records, and recordings with his own quartet on ears&eyes and Shifting Paradigm Records.
Performing on his custom “SARIAN” mouthpieces, crafted in France by Atelier Donat, Michael is an in-demand musician – equally at home in intimate jazz settings and stadium stages, most recently touring with the Jonas Brothers.
His Greenleaf Music debut is an adventurous dive into modern jazz, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Stay tuned. Next week, we’ll be announcing the first single and pre-order details.
Born in Toronto and raised in Buenos Aires, Michael has been a part of the New York City music scene since relocating there in 2012.
