Dave Douglas presents solo trumpet livestream on December 18

Dave Douglas will participate in a livestream concert event through Ann Arbor’s Edgefest on Friday, December 18th!
Along with multi-instrumentalist Rafael Statin and trombonsit Jen Baker, Dave will present ‘Hudson Solos,’ a concert of solo trumpet. Here’s Dave’s description of the music:
A series of solo pieces in a special performance for Ann Arbor’s Edgefest. Dave performs the solos for the camera and also to footage he shot along various parts of his beloved Hudson River. Developed in the past few months during shutdown, these pieces are a personal and intimate portrait of our moment. Some of them were performed in front of a live audience of Greenleaf Music subscribers via Zoom. This is the first official Dave Douglas solo performance material to be released.
