Some thanks are in order. One of the most inspiring parts of the US tour has been meeting the people along the way. People who make musical events possible in their cities, towns, and regions are really crucial to the opening up of possibility around the country. We've been blessed to meet up with some fantastic supporters of the arts in our 50 state travels.

Tuesday, August 27th sees the release of a new album by bassist Linda Oh on our Greenleaf label. To celebrate, Linda brings a quartet to Jazz Standard NYC for two sets.

This Tuesday, August 20th, Matt Ulery presents a special concert at Brooklyn's ShapeShifter Lab. This double bill will marry his two most recent projects. Set one will celebrate the release of his latest album Wake An Echo with his Loom quintet, and the second set premieres (for New Yorkers) his 2012 work By A Little Light. The latter will feature the Loom quintet with a string section of special guests including violinist Zach Brock. This show is not to be missed!
