Matt Ulery’s #WakeAnEcho record release at Shapeshifter Lab, Critics Pick in Downbeat

This Tuesday, August 20th, Matt Ulery presents a special concert at Brooklyn’s ShapeShifter Lab. This double bill will marry his two most recent projects. Set one will celebrate the release of his latest album Wake An Echo (GLM | iTunes) with his Loom quintet, and the second set premieres (for New Yorkers) his 2012 work By A Little Light (GLM | iTunes). The latter will feature the Loom quintet with a string section of special guests including violinist Zach Brock. This show is not to be missed!

After the NY show, Loom heads to DC for a show at Bethesda Blues and Jazz. We’re also excited to let you know that a Tiny Desk Concert is in the works, the band filming the spot this week. We’ll update you ASAP on that. In the meantime, hope to see you out at the show!

Wednesday, August 21st
