Announcing a new artist: Trish Clowes
It’s always a great day when we get to announce a new artist joining our roster! Please welcome saxophonist and composer Trish Clowes!
Trish is based in London, England, where she has established herself as one of the leading lights on the UK creative music scene. We’re excited to release a brand new album of music from her band My Iris, featuring Chris Montague on guitar, Ross Stanley on piano and Hammond organ, and James Maddren drummer. The group, which the Guardian has called “exhilarating and darkly funky” has already released three albums and toured extensively, so we’re grateful to share a new album featuring eight of Clowes’ original compositions.
Trish Clowes’ (pronounced ‘Clues’) new album A View with a Room will release worldwide on April 22nd on CD and digital. You can pre-order the album on Bandcam here.
