It’s always a great day when we get to announce a new artist to the label! Please welcome saxophone, composer, and beat-maker Kazemde George to the Greenleaf roster!

A native of Berkeley, California and now based in Brooklyn, Kazemde has studied both neurobiology and music, and he combines these two passions in interesting ways. He also make beats under the moniker “KG, B”. Check out his SoundCloud page and his full bio here.

Kazemde will be releasing his debut album, I Insist, on October 22nd. The record features all original music performed by a quintet that includes vocalist Sami Stevens, keyboard player Isaac Wilson, bassist Tyron Allen II, and drummer Adam Arruda. Watch for more details very soon!
