Hudson Solos is the name of our Subscriber Series for 2021, and it features new solo trumpet pieces written and performed by Dave Douglas.

We’re releasing the second track in the series today. Dave says:

“Let Your Ears Be Attentive” is dedicated to trumpeter, composer and philosopher Wadada Leo Smith. I created it for the Ann Arbor Edgefest in December. The piece is part of a larger suite for my quintet that will be unveiled later.
