EVENT: Dave Douglas plays Something Else Festival June 16-19
Dave Douglas is appearing at the Something Else festival this weekend in Hamilton, Ontario with two projects!
He’ll be present two concerts with the Mountain Passages band, featuring Michael Moore on reeds, Peggy Lee on cello, Marcus Rojas on tuba, and Dylan van der Schyff on drums. And he’ll play two shows with his Marching Music band featuring guitarist Rafiq Bhatia, bassist Melvin Gibbs, and (filling in for Sim Cain) Gene Lake. Dave will also participate in an improv set with Robin Holcomb and Joe Sorbara.
