Recently named as Artistic Director of the Bergamo Jazz Festival, Dave Douglas follows in the footsteps of previous directors Uri Caine, Paolo Fresu and Enrico Rava to lead this annual festival in the Italian city of Bergamo. This year’s festival takes place March 13-20 and features concerts, film screenings, educational activities and more.

Located an hour east of Milan, the festival takes place in various venues including Teatro Donizetti and Teatro Sociale and includes a broad range of Italian and international artists. Check out some of highlights below. See you out there!
