GIFTS press roundup
It’s been just two weeks since Dave Douglas released GIFTS, his brand new recording featuring Ian Chang, Rafiq Bhatia & James Brandon Lewis. A debut of sorts for this ensemble, GIFTS has quickly generated some fantastic reviews and reactions to the album so far, including playlist features on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Qobuz and NPR. The music will be performed live with several different sized ensembles, including as a Trio with Kate Gentile and Ava Mendoza.
