Starting tonight in Poland, Dave will be playing 6 dates in Europe with the SFJAZZ Collective. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this all-star band, the players include Miguel Zenon, Robin Eubanks, Joe Lovano, Dave Douglas, Eric Harland, Stefon Harris, Renee Rosnes, and Matt Penman. This season, the Collective is playing original compositions by each member of the band, as well as new arrangements of the music of saxophonist and composer Wayne Shorter. Dave arranged Wayne’s Aung San Suu Kyi, and his original is dedicated to Wayne as well, Secrets of the Code. Don’t miss it.
