Aaron Ryuko Shragge, a member at the Village Zendo, created a new collaboration between FONT Music and the Village Zendo. This extraordinary pairing of innovative trumpet music and enlightened venue takes flight on May 4th at 8pm.

The title Villagers and Trumpet comes from a Zen parable, which you can read at the Zendo site. Join us for the first concert at Village Zendo for this remarkable meeting of trumpeters, trumpets, small ensembles, and, yes, villagers. Nate Wooley, Nadje Noordhuis, and Ryuko Shragge will all play sets with duo partners in this very special environment.
