★ Dave Douglas Quintet (Tuesday through Aug. 23) The industrious trumpeter-composer Dave Douglas broke in a terrific new band last year, releasing two albums on his own Greenleaf label: “Be Still,” a contemplative recasting of Protestant hymns, and “Time Travel,” a more rambunctious postbop outing. The quintet — with Jon Irabagon on saxophones, Matt Mitchell on piano, Linda Oh on bass and Rudy Royston on drums — will most likely draw from both releases here.
