That’s wonderful news. My very favorite DD projects involve Mark Feldman. And the Giuffre trio is a touchstone for me (”In the Evenings Out There”). I also listen more and more to Michael Moore’s work in this area–Chicoutimi, Bering, parts of the new albums Fragile and Holocene… How is it that beauty in music got a bad name?

Thanks for writing. Glad to know you’d want to hear Brass Ecstasy via Instant Live. As this is all brand new music we will not be releasing the concert recording in that way. Instant Live takes a lot of preparation, both for the band and in terms of technology. We hope that the Quintet and Keystone series’ reflect that and that you have enjoyed them!

With the appetite out there for it, I will definitely plan to continue the series. There are many ways to do it, but the most important thing is always quality: sound, music, and vibes have to all come together for it to work.
