While we wait to see if Senator McCain will deign to debate(He’s going to do it) this evening in Mississippi, here’s some sanity for your ears. Trumpeters Brian Lynch, Paolo Fresu, and Terrell Stafford will definitely show up to play in homage to Woody Shaw this evening at the Jazz Standard. Last night Ingrid Jensen, Tim Hagans, and Eric Vloeimans ruled. Don’t sleep on this series if you can avoid it. (And tivo the debate).
